These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are the rules for using freepdf2word at freepdf2word.com, including Freepdf2word AI OCR, PDF tools, guest use, registered accounts, and Premium. By using the site you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

freepdf2word is an online Software-as-a-Service. We let you upload files and run tools such as image/PDF to Word (Freepdf2word AI), merge, split, compress, convert, rotate, protect, and similar PDF utilities. Features, limits, and availability can change.

The service is provided over the internet. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every file will convert perfectly. You should keep your own copy of important documents.

2. Who may use it

  • You must be old enough to form a contract in your country (usually 18). If you are 16 or 17, a parent or guardian must agree.
  • You must not use the service if you are barred by law from doing so.
  • One person or organization is responsible for each account.

3. Accounts and guests

You may try some tools without an account, subject to daily and per-file limits. Creating an account lets us remember your jobs and, if you subscribe, apply Premium limits and priority.

You must give a real email you control, keep your password secret, and tell us if you think the account was misused. We may suspend accounts that look abusive or unsafe.

4. Your files and licence to us

You keep ownership of the files you upload and the outputs we create for you, as far as the law allows.

You grant freepdf2word a limited licence to host, copy, convert, and transmit those files only so we can run the tool you requested and deliver the result. That licence ends when we delete the working files after the job (or when a share link expires).

You confirm that you have the right to upload the file and that it does not infringe someone else’s copyright, privacy, or other rights. Do not upload malware or illegal content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attack, scrape in a harmful way, or overload the service.
  • Bypass payment, caps, or security checks.
  • Use the service to harm others, spread malware, or break the law.
  • Resell raw access to our engines as if they were your own API without a written deal with us.

We may refuse, throttle, or delete jobs that threaten the platform or other users.

6. Premium and payments

Paid plans are described on the site at the time you subscribe. Fees are charged through Stripe. Taxes may apply. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, unless the checkout page says otherwise.

Chargebacks and unpaid invoices may lead to loss of Premium features. We do not store full card numbers.

7. AI and automated processing

OCR and some conversions use automated systems (Freepdf2word AI). Results can contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking the output before you rely on it for legal, medical, financial, or other important use.

We process files to complete your request. We do not use your files to train public AI models.

8. Intellectual property in the site

The freepdf2word name, site design, and software we provide are ours or our licensors’. These Terms do not give you any right to copy the product except as needed to use it in a browser or official app we provide.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that conversions will be complete, accurate, or free of defects.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, freepdf2word is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for a claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the three months before the claim, or USD 20 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

11. Changes and termination

We may change these Terms. The new version applies after we post it on this page. If you continue to use the site, you accept the update for future use.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close access if you break these Terms or if we shut the product down. Sections that by nature should survive (including 4, 8, 9, and 10) stay in force.
